Skylark Usage Continues to Grow! Since 2007, the use of the Skylark Retreat Centre has increased! The Centre has served as a facility for Nicaraguans, Americans and Canadians in the capacity of medical and dental clinics, sports camps, Ave Maria University retreat, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega's welcome for European Union ambassadors, pastors' conferences, church retreats, community open houses and camps for inner-city kids from Managua. We continue to be in awe of what God is doing through this site.

Aerial View Feb 2009Skylark Retreat Centre is a beautiful, new, full service centre available to groups seeking refreshment and renewal and who are looking to grow in their faith. The centre is open to the Christian churches in Nicaragua and organizations working here. Check out our facilities!

The Centre is a well maintained and fully equipped facility that provides the following services for local groups as well as mission teams

  • 150 beds in dormitory style setting
  • 14 rooms (for 2 people) in motel style setting with own bathroom and hot water
  • Multi-use open air auditorium with a capacity of 600
  • Closed auditorium with a capacity of 120
  • Complete meal packages vi. Swimming pool
  • Sports areas which include basketball, indoor soccer, beach volleyball and baseball
  • Wireless Internet throughout the camp
  • Safe and peaceful setting for all types of groups
